"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."   Philippians 4:6

I have heard from many of our family and friends that this update is significantly past due.  I guess I didn't realize how long it has been since I posted an update until I tried to add this page and it took me about 30 minutes to re-learn how to do it.

I am making no promises how often to add pictures, but I do know that there are a select few that are looking for them.  So, here are some.

Alex has really taken to the water and just like everything else, he has no fear!  Needless to say, that scares us a bit, but he loves being active!

For the most part, he and Nadia really enjoy playing together.  However, the natural sibling issues are becoming more regular.  I guess that is a sign of progress!

We have also seen quite a bit of progress with Alex's vocabulary as he tells us "night night" and "I love you, etc."  Gina is doing a fantastic job in working with him on his vocabulary!  He can point out his eyes, and ears, etc.....and let's us know when he wants something to drink by saying "GA-GA."  Not really sure where that came from, but it is great to know what he means when he is saying it.

He is still on a rapid growth plan!  He is nearing 30 lbs and is now wearing a size 7 extra wide shoe!!  Other than some determined allergies, he is extremely healthy!

In late July he was able to re-unite with Grandpa who was in the south on business, and he seemed to remember being with him as they were playing immediately!

The biggest news of late is that we now have a new addition to the family!  Tanner was a 7 week old cockepoo puppy when we got him August the 5th.  The kids really love him, but are still trying to determine how to handle a small dog, with a TON of energy!  It has made for some unique entertainment!

It is incredible to realize that we have now known Alex for over 6 months!  Yet at the same time, it is hard to remember life without him!  Nadia will celebrate her 5th birthday on September the 3rd!  We are so happy that her 4th year not only saw her make an incredible amount of growth, but also brought her a lifelong sibling! When she says her prayers at night, and prays for him, it just warms our hearts!

God is so good!
